I've never had a bad experience here. Always friendly service and really good food. I usually have the fried okra ,Billy beans , chopped brisket and turkey. But everything else I've tried is really good also. Chicken tenders are on point
Good spot to pick up some bbq. Though I had the 2 meat dish, the Mac n Cheese looked fantastic. #spicemeister approved.
I thought the food was good. The website ordering was a little cumbersome but I finally got it placed. The carryout process was easy and the staff was friendly. I eat there periodically.
Really damn good option for fast food BBQ. I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice stack of pecan wood outside the restaurant. As everyone knows, when it comes to BBQ, If there's no wood, it's no good! Well, Billy's is good! The meats I had were all nicely smoked, the pork was particularly good, lots of nice pieces of bark. Very happy with the sides as well. The staff was great too. I went on a truly chaotic night, Billy Sims was there to meet customers and sign autographs for the people. The line was massive and moved slowly. Despite the chaos, the staff handled everything well. I had an issue with my order and they took care of it, no problems.
Reasonable price for a BBQ place and great selection. Meat, slaw and beans were good. Very friendly!!
How have I not noticed this place before????? This is so delicious. I don't know how I've missed it for so long. I feel sorry for myself. Got carry out for Friday night dinner - could easily feed 3 people for $30! A delicious FEAST! Can't wait to go back to try more.
*This review is for takeout only* - I ordered through the Yelp app and picked up my order 20 minutes later, no problem. I went with the half slab rib dinner that comes with 2 sides. Wow! The ribs were amazing. They included bbq sauce on the side, but the ribs were so flavorful I didn't even need it. Baked beans were fine and mac & cheese was ok but nothing special. Star of the show was definitely the ribs so don't sleep on those!
This Billy Sims location always has friendly staff and tasty food! We only have done takeout, but every time has been satisfying. I am not much of a pork person, so I usually make a meal out of side dishes, but I can never resist a couple ribs. The ribs are tender and juicy and don't need sauce for moisture, only as extra flavor! I also enjoy their mac and cheese. I always have to add salt and pepper, but I prefer that over it being made overly salted/peppered. Overall, we have had only positive experiences with Billy Sims, and will be returning whenever the BBQ craving strikes!
